Description

Having your employees trained to properly use a fire extinguisher is important. In fact, gaining confidence to react quickly during an emergency is a big part of helping you protect your people and your business. Through hands-on training with fire simulations in a safe learning environment, our professional instructors will educate your staff on the basics of fire extinguisher locations, common fire hazards, proper procedures, safe evacuation routes, and more. This course is approximately one hour and is designed to show students how to properly use various types of Fire Extinguishers in different environments and scenarios.  Participants will also have the ability to practice operating a fire extinguisher in a training situation.  (Requires a minimum class size of 10 students.)

Our fire extinguisher training program includes:

• An overview of common types of fire protection equipment
• A discussion of common extinguisher types
• Education on common causes of fires
• A review of current fire evacuation procedures
• Fire hazard awareness training
• Training on P.A.S.S. method ((Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep)
• Training on the R.A.C.E. method (Rescue, Activate, Confine, Evacuate)
• The different classes of fires
